Rendell’s Department of Manna Busy For Holidays

Governor Rendell has been hinting that he will announce further suspensions of the basic laws of economic gravity and push for The PA Department of Manna to bestow upon 1 million PA residents more “free” health care!
He will accomplish this feat by suspending the laws of biology with a government edict that will reduce health care costs elsewhere by reducing the expensive and life-threatening infections that patients are acquiring in hospitals, given death from infections is something about which most doctors and the free market have little time to be bothered.
The details are pending a report to be issued by His Highness’ royal department of Health Care Reform.
Money to cover the costs will, of course, be redirected from the functioning economy, thus creating even more opportunities for the Fast Eddie’s of the world to step in and save us all.
