School Boards Don’t Want too much Voter Oversight

The Allegheny Institute has a fine commentary on Act 72 and how local school boards don’t like the fact it’d put more control on taxing in the hands of constituents. One good, however, does not make Act 72 good law… or justify making it mandatory, as wants Governor Rendell.
