Your Coopted Tax Dollars at Work

While the region struggles to keep businesses and citizens fleeing, more fleecing is being proposed as a means of making the region more attractive: Art.

Its not that art isn’t important. Its just immoral to yank money out of the hands of taxpayers and businesses that are attempting to make a go in the region, and funnel it to groups that have political connections with the local regimes. While this is good for artists, it is just more rust on another cog in the wheel for successful business growth in the region.

Oh, and in case you didn’t notice, Pittsburgh has been in a soft depression for the last twenty years… more businesses and citizens are leaving every year because the environment here, plain and simply, sucks. It sucks money out of your pocket that other regions don’t. It sucks time and effort out of your day with absurd requirements.

Oh, but a few artsy ideas will certainly make all that go away.

With that in mind, today I am creating a new category for which this is the first post: Pixie Dust.

Wish! Wish, Away! Just sprinkle more pixie dust, and all will be OK!
