Pay Raise Update

The Trib attempted to follow up on the “thieves of the night” pay raise… Many PA politicians ran and hid, a few said they’d hold off until it was more legal, and others said they’d simply give the taxpayers’ money away to charities or causes of their own liking… nice hollow gesture….. Most are like most politicians….
And once more I am reminded of a Mencken Quote: “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard. ”
Given that virtually nothing will come of this at the voting booth, I am tending to agree whole heartedly.
