“Getting Around: ‘Feds’ don’t put their money where their mouth is,” says a PG headline. The article summarizes the massive numbers thrown around for transportation projects, and how everybody is forced to beg at the Federal trough in order to get back the money we all send their way each year. But more importantly, the piece mentions all the bureaucratic strings that go hand in hand to secure federal funds… extra step after extra step costs valuable money and time.
