As if.
That’s not to say Pittsburgh isn’t run by an old boys network of epic proportions. But these days, its not too hard to find a politically connected female willing to play ball by official boy’s club rules.
This is symbolic action that has everything to do with being politically correct, and very little to do with the city cutting the extraordinary flab it must cut to restore fiscal sanity. Absent such meaningful change, regional and state taxpayers can expect the local gang to work with Governor Ed to soak them with the cost of keeping the city rot afloat.
